We have a shiny new website!

NuPlanet has a shiny new website!  

We have been working with the very clever Gareth Jones to create our new Low Carbon website.  

In collaboration with Myles Lucas Studios, Gareth has delivered a website in line with our values and ethos. Our brief was to create a responsive and easy to navigate website, with a low carbon footprint.

The internet is now producing approximately the same amount of carbon as the aviation industry with an average website producing 100kg of CO2 equivalent.  

Our new website produces less than a third of the emissions of a typical site each month which is still the equivalent of driving 0.56 miles in a Tesla Model S or watching 1 hours of Netflix (in HD!). 

So as part of our Low Carbon Hosting plan, generated emissions will be offset via the Eastbourne based charity Treebourne. Since the charity started 4 years ago, over 24,000 trees have been planted, 3 wildflower meadows have been sown and 3 small tree nurseries have been established to supply future planting schemes.

Our new website has been a real team effort and wouldn't have been possible without the support of Myles Lucas Studios, Gareth Jones and our lovely staff. Finally, a big thank you to clients who generously shared images and testimonials.
