Get to know the NuPlanet team

Charlie is the founding Director of NuPlanet. With over 25 years in the construction industry and more than a decade providing low energy and sustainable design consultancy.  

His knowledge and experience have helped project teams navigate the ever-evolving regulations, methodology and demand on the construction industry to deliver efficient and practical low carbon building solutions across projects of all types and size. He heads up building compliance at NuPlanet as well as being heavily involved with the retrofit side of the business.

Charlie has a strong interest in health and wellbeing and is a trained Mental Health First Aider (MHFA). His door is always open for anyone who feels like life is getting on top of them.

Jo joined the management team at NuPlanet in 2022 to assist with the expansion of the business.  

She brings over two decades experience in the built environment with a background managing local design and architecture studios and working freelance with developers, architects, planning and heritage consultants. 

Jo enjoys the variety of her role at NuPlanet which includes implementing new processes, HR and marketing. She is passionate about efficiency and has discovered that she particularly loves streamlining workflows by building and automating project management systems!

Reza joined NuPlanet as a building performance consultant in the summer of 2024. His academic and professional experience in construction, architecture and quantity surveying provides him with a broad skillset that perfectly supports our range of work.

He is passionate about energy efficient buildings, reducing emissions and how these improvements can benefit our health, planet and finances!

Reza is primarily focussed on the delivery of SHDF funded retrofit schemes and also provides analysis to support our building performance projects.

Sarah has been involved with NuPlanet for some time and officially joined the team in 2025. She plays a vital role in keeping our day to day operations running smoothly.

She coordinates our retrofit assessment bookings, supports our assessors, and acts as a key point of contact for clients. With excellent organisational skills, she helps keep projects on track while providing consistent support across the business.

Outside of NuPlanet, Sarah is a qualified massage therapist with a passion for health and wellbeing. She brings this caring approach to the office, helping create a calm, positive, and supportive environment for the team.

Matt is a GIS-spatial expert, with a vast experience in delivering data analysis and mapping solutions across ecological, green infrastructure, ecosystems and estate management projects. 

Matt leads the NuPlanet Pathways team, providing retrofit analysis and mapping solutions to help decarbonise housing stock for social housing providers and their management partners. 

His passion and in-depth knowledge of GIS-mapping has helped in the development of NuMaps, a bespoke asset mapping service, providing clients with a user-friendly tool which will help manage retrofit programmes, and provide easy access to post retrofit information. 

Fam is a qualified DEA, Retrofit Assessor and Coordinator. He holds a level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings, which allows him to work on hard to treat Listed properties, ensuring that any Retrofit work is sympathetic to the historical nature of any building. 

Fam’s professionalism, knowledge and keen attention to detail ensures the highest level of assessments are produced. 

Paul has been supporting NuPlanet with retrofit assessments since he joined us in 2025. He has been a Domestic Energy Assessor and a Retrofit Assessor since he qualified in 2021 and is TrustMark registered.

Paul has also been acting for over 20 years and has numerous film, theatre and TV credits!

Eugene is an experienced DEA, NDEA, DEC and Retrofit Assessor who is also TrustMark registered. He joined the NuPlanet team in 2025 and has played an important role in delivering large scale Retrofit Assessments and EPC programmes for our Social Housing clients.

Alongside his technical expertise, Eugene is known for his professionalism, reliability and friendly manner and consistently delivers on time to the highest quality.
