Working as a delivery partner for GDS Chartered Surveyors, NuPlanet provided a range of Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) retrofit services in line with PAS2035 for 106 rural social housing properties in Chichester, West Sussex.
The initial retrofit assessments were undertaken by our team of experienced retrofit assessors with strategies developed to highlight a route to achieve a C rated EPC whilst developing a medium-term plan to meet a maximum Space Heating Demand (SHD) target of 90kWh/m2/yr.
Additional supporting services were provided included pre retrofit air pressure testing, U-value calculations and thermal bridge analysis.
Our skilled building performance consultants identified measures that would not only satisfy PAS2035 but also improve thermal comfort and reduce running costs for the tenants.
