NuPlanet were appointed by JDRM Architects to carry out an energy strategy for a detached 7-bedroom house in the village of Cuckfield with spectacular views across the Sussex countryside, the brief was to reduce carbon emissions by at least 70%.

Our solution was a strategy that included an efficient building fabric, low air tightness, full mechanical ventilation with a heat recovery (MVHR) and an air source heat pump to meet the heating and hot water demand.
