Set in the South Downs National Park in the market town of Lewes, this residential scheme developed a former petrol station and car salesroom site to create a terrace of 3 houses and a pair of mews houses to the rear.

To demonstrate that sustainability was a key consideration, NuPlanet were appointed early on to support the planning application with an energy and sustainability strategy.

Working with John Pardey Architects, Baobab Developments and the rest of the design team, we also provided SAP, U-value and water use calculations as well as air permeability, sound and ventilation post construction testing.

We have worked with NuPlanet on several schemes now and have always appreciated their collaborative and informed approach. Their areas of expertise are complicated ones and getting them designed and integrated into the overall build is critical to the successful delivery of our projects and on each occasion, Charlie and his team are able to communicate well with other design stakeholders and maintain a holistic and detailed understanding of how buildings work allowing their areas of design to be woven into the fabric of the building, mindful of both form and function. I would heartily recommend NuPlanet to anyone looking for such service.
