The energy performance and carbon emissions of residential buildings is assessed using the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP). The SAP model is used to demonstrate compliance with Part L1 of the Approved Documents at both the Design and As Built stages. An EPC is then generated and lodged based on the As Built Assessment.
