A U-value, or thermal transmittance, is used to measure the rate of transfer of heat through a building fabric element. Lower U-values typically signify higher levels of insulation and efficiency.

Our energy consultants undertake U-value calculations in accordance with national conventions (BR443) in support of Part L compliance (SAP and SBEM) and retrofit projects.
